About the Series
The Charity Ann Series revisits my wife’s enslaved third great-grandmother’s heartbreaking day when her two daughters were sold away from her. We do not know the third great-grandmother’s name or one of the daughter’s names. The only one of the daughter’s names that we know is Charity Ann, my wife’s second great-grandmother and the matriarch of the Parker line.
